Jewish Wedding

The Jewish wedding is rich with ceremony, beginning with the betrothal of intent to marry and ending with seven days of celebration.

Isaiah visions of the end time events.

Isaiah 26:20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be over past.
Our groomsman is a Jewish King.
The Jewish wedding chamber.

In the Jewish wedding we know that the bride and groom enter their chamber and stay there for one week of 7 days. The time of the tribulation is 7 years and this correlates to the 7- day time frame in thy chambers.
The entire Jewish Wedding ceremony is a replica of the rapture.
The Wedding Model.
All through the Gospels, Yahshua relied on the ancient Jewish wedding pattern for many of His parables, climaxing in His promise in the Upper Room in John 14. Many of us miss the full import of these allusions if we aren't familiar with the model of ancient biblical wedding practices.

Jewish Wedding.
The first step, the Ketubah, or Betrothal, was the establishment of the marriage covenant, usually when the prospective bridegroom took the initiative and negotiated the price he must pay to purchase her.
Yahshua purchased us with His blood.

The bridegroom goes to the pending bride’s house to ask her father for her hand in marriage. On gaining acceptance he then pours the wine and offers it to her, if she takes the cup and drinks she accepts the proposal of marriage.
Yahshua called His disciples to the Upper Room and at this time He gave His proposal and offered the wine, stating he would not drink from this cup again until He is again with them in His father’s Kingdom.
Matthew 26:29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.
HE intends to have that drink with His believers in His father’s kingdom.
No person is in His father’s kingdom at this point they are in paradise awaiting the rapture, resurrection or
judgement and therefore Yahshua was speaking to His overcomers whom He is betrothed to and He is going to take them to His Father’s House.

This is a perfect replica of the betrothal, stating His faithfulness and commitment to His bride. The Jewish apostles would understand this well and they accepted the wine and drank with Him thus committing to the marriage union.
The Bridegroom Price.
Once the bridegroom paid the purchase price, the marriage covenant was established, and the young man and woman were regarded as husband and wife.  From that moment on, the bride was declared to be consecrated or sanctified - set apart - exclusively for her bridegroom. Just as we who accept our bridegroom are sanctified and set apart and enter into His kingdom here on earth we are no longer of the world but are betrothed to our bridegroom. As a symbol of the covenant relationship that had been established, the groom and bride drank from a cup of wine over which the betrothal had been pronounced.
Similarly we see Yahshua take the cup and drink the wine which is His betrothal to the church.

After the marriage covenant was established, the groom left his bride at her home and returned to his father's house, where he remained separated from his bride for approximately 12 months.

John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
This afforded the bride time to gather her trousseau and prepare for married life. It has given the bridegroom time to prepare a home for His bride.
The church has had 2000 years to prepare and become spotless brides for our bridegroom.
During this period of separation, the groom prepared a dwelling place in his father's house to which he would later bring his bride. At the end of the period of separation, the future home for the bride was prepared and the Father of the groom would say it is time to go and collect your bride.
The bridegroom went out - usually at night - to take his bride to live with him. Although the bride was expecting her groom to come for her, she did not know the time or hour of his coming. As a result, the groom's arrival was preceded by a shout, which announced her departure to be gathered with him to His father’s house.
After the groom received his bride, together with her female attendants, the enlarged wedding party departed to the groom's father's house, where the wedding guests had assembled.
Shortly after their arrival, the bride and groom were escorted by the other members of the wedding party to the bridal chamber (Chuppah).
Prior to entering the chamber, the bride remained veiled so that no one could see her face. While the groomsmen and bridesmaids waited outside, the bride and groom entered the bridal chamber alone. There, in the privacy of that place, they entered into physical union for the first time, thereby consummating the marriage that had been covenanted approximately one year earlier.
After the marriage was consummated, the groom came out of the bridal chamber and announced the consummation of the marriage to the members of the wedding party waiting outside. Then, as the groom went back to his bride in the chamber, the members of the wedding party returned to the wedding guests and announced the consummation of the marriage.
Upon receiving the good news, the wedding guests remained in the groom's father's house for the next seven days, celebrating with a great wedding feast.
During the seven days of the wedding feast, the bride and groom remained hidden in the bridal chamber. It is a depiction of the seven year tribulation with the Bride not on the earth but with the Lord in His father’s house and is away getting acquainted in the marriage.
Yahshua told us He would go and prepare a place for us and return and take us to His father’s house in heaven. Clearly it is not here on the earth. To ignore the word and make your own assumptions because you don’t understand how our almighty YHWH can pull off such a glorious and miraculous event then you don’t know Him at all. He said I will come and call you up to the clouds and give you a new glorified body and take you to the place I have prepared for you and the doubters say, ‘Nah that won’t happen???’
We are commanded not to take from and therefore to ignore the process of the betrothal and the parables and scriptures simply to prove that there is no rapture or catching away is a very luke warm believer and a false teacher. Mentioned in revelation and Jesus/Yahshua spoke of this church as the Ladocean church, the end time church and He will spew them out of His mouth.
(Genesis 29:21-23, 27-28) for the seven days of the chuppah. Afterwards, the groom came out of hiding, bringing his bride with him, but with her veil removed so that everyone could see her.
Yahshua will return with His glorious bride and she will be with Him when He makes His entry to earth appearing in the clouds for all to see and with Him to present her to the whole world and to end the wickedness, destroy the evil world and reign here with him as kings and Priest over the earth.
Revelation 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Who will they rule over? If there are no people here when He comes back as the post tribulation crowd insinuates that they will all be caught up at the end of the great tribulation? Or, the false SDA theory that says there will be no earthly kingdom and that they will all be raptured into heaven for 1000 years millennium? They need to read Ezekiel which describes in detail the 1000 year millennial reign or Isaiah who describes life for mortals who will live and die, here in an earthly kingdom during the millennial reign.
Isaiah 65: 19I will rejoice in Jerusalem and take delight in My people. The sounds of weeping and crying will no longer be heard in her. 20 No longer will a nursing infant live but a few day, or and old man not live out his days. For the youth will die at a hundred years, and he who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed. 21 They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.…

For the rapture to follow the post tribulation it would mean He comes in the clouds with His saints turns around and goes back to heaven to the Fathers house?? At the same time he stands with His feet on the Mt of Olives and defeats all the nations who have come against Israel and rules and reigns here on earth 1000 years all happening at once. The scripture tell us that a man when he marries he cannot go to war yet for twelve months Deuteronomy 24 5.  Clearly when He comes at the end of time at the second coming he brings all the nations together for judgement. He will destroy those who have fought against Israel as He comes to war and brings His faithful army with him. That is impossible to rapture to heaven in amongst all of these events. He is a God of order and that would be absolute chaos and mayhem to rapture the last standing people and do all of the rest of the steps at the same time.
The post tribulation claim is just ridiculous and doesn’t make sense at all and it is false and do not allow anyone to tell you the lie that the rapture is at the end of the great tribulation. This is just a ploy to stop people from preparing as commanded and to be complacent and foolish virgins who just don’t have oil in their lamps.
The Ultimate Bride.
The New Testament portrays the Church as the Bride of Christ in Ephesians 5:22-33 (Paul even quotes Genesis 2:24 as the union at the Parousia of the Bridegroom in v.31!); cf. Romans 7:4; 2 Corinthians 11:2; James 4:4. In the opening verses of John 14, the marriage covenant is confirmed.  Paul continually reminds us of the purchase price and the covenant by which we, the Bride, are set apart, or sanctified.
The Departure of the Bridegroom.
The Bridegroom has departed, 2000 years ago and His return to gather His Bride is imminent. He has gone to prepare a place for you and me. (He has been at it for 2,000 years! It must be a spectacular abode!)
This very doctrine of "imminence" is taught throughout the New Testament and is a cornerstone of the "pre-tribulational" view: there is no event which is a prerequisite condition for His gathering of His Bride. It will happen at a time that the Father declares to Yahshua, your home is prepared for her, go and collect your Bride. We are all to be ready and waiting and watching for our Bridegroom. As portrayed through the 5 wise virgins and are ready because they had their lamps full of oil.
Virgins is reference to not affiliated with religions but are keeping the commandments as they did in the NT times.
Seventh day Sabbath keeping, festivals observed and know and preach His truth.
Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
He will keep His believers from the hour of temptation that will come upon the whole world.

1 Thessalonians 1:10 - And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, [even] Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
Delivered from the wrath. The only time Gods wrath is poured out is at judgement. We are about to enter God’s final judgement on the world. His bride have already cleansed their robes and made them white and will receive their rewards (crowns). They are not under judgement.
1 Thessalonians 5: 9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
Paul tells us we are not appointed to wrath but to obtain salvation in Yahshua Ha Mashiach.
White Robes in Heaven.

We read in Revelation where the church is in Heaven in white robes and then they return with Him for all the world to see Yahshua coming in the clouds accompanied by His Army and His angels dressed in fine linen robes, clean and white.
Revelation 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
We know this is the church returning with him because they are wearing, the fine linen robes of that which was granted the church.
Revelation 4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
Paul spoke of the 5 crowns awarded to the overcoming church in heaven. 1 Corinthians 9:25.

In the book of Revelation the church was the only conversation that Yahshua had with John up until this above verse and then it was not mentioned again, the seals were then opened and the bowls of wrath poured out and nothing more of the church mentioned until chapter 19 where He is preparing to bring His bride with Him as she has made herself ready and is coming with Him to return to earth to destroy the wicked and judge the world.
